Turbine was made in the Turbine Hall
at Tate Modern over the three day exhibition No Soul
For Sale, as part of the i-cabin installation, we
better keep moving this thing forward, whatever the risks. The
sound was produced by recording and playing back five minute segments
of the ambient noise of the Turbine Hall over the three day event. Subtle
vocal interactions with the recorded resonant and ambient tones create
a duet between the artist and the space. |
